What 1 Thessalonians 5:17 means
Paul's shortest instruction in the whole letter is three words long. It is not a call to spend every hour on your knees, but to keep the line open, to live with prayer running underneath ordinary work, travel, study and rest rather than reserved for a set moment in the day.
