Romans 1:16
Unashamed
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”
What Romans 1:16 means
Paul writes this to believers in the capital of the empire, where the gospel had no social standing at all. To be unashamed is not bravado; it is refusing to edit your faith down to whatever the room finds acceptable.
How it became a design
Worn plainly, one word, no explanation. It is meant to invite the question rather than answer it in advance.
